Bilderlings Financial Services Ltd. acquires an insurance broker in Russia

Bilderlings Financial Services Ltd., an international wealth manager, has acquired Russian insurance broker company Anglo-Russian Insurance Broker LLC.

Andrey Zaharov, the company’s Chief Executive, noted that he is satisfied with the acquisition. “We maintain our productive relations with RFIB Group, Lloyd’s of London broker, and do highly appreciate our cooperation. Bilderlings, the new owner and established European multi family office and wealth management company, saw the opportunity and combined the acquisition with its plans to expand operations in Russia.” Mr Zakharov adds that in addition to retail insurance, the company plans to offer entrepreneurs and wealthy families a full set of services including trust and asset management products.

John Metcalfe, representative of RFIB Group noted, “We are pleased that our business in Russia has been acquired by people and a company we have known during over 15 years of cooperation. We have created a successful franchise and cooperated  with major insurance and reinsurance businesses. Given the plans announced by Bilderlings towards specialization in the area of HNWIs, we have agreed to extend our cooperation in this field which offers a great deal of promise in the Russian market.”
